Course evaluation

Course evaluations (LVE) are conducted in the Department of Economics and Social Sciences halfway through each teaching term. The aim of this ongoing and targeted evaluation of courses is to assess the quality of teaching and, based on the results, to initiate a continuous, systematic process of improvement.

The aggregated results reports are published regularly:

Overall report Bachelor’s degree, Overall report Master’s degree.

The results for the specialisation modules can be viewed internally within the university.

(selected results from the LVE winter semester 2025/26)

The procedure description for course evaluation, including information on the objectives, general process, and schedule, can be found here.

The course evaluation framework was developed by the Course Evaluation Committee, which continues to refine it on an ongoing basis. The committee meets once a term. If you have any suggestions or questions for the committee, please feel free to contact the Dean of Studies or his assistant.

  • Strategic focus of course evaluation
  • Content design of the questionnaires
  • Selection of modules for Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes, the latter in collaboration with the programme coordinators of the individual Master’s programmes
  • Support for the follow-up process
